Key features SyMRI Cardiac Studio:
Parameter settings for Cardiac Late Gadolinium Enhancement imaging
One breath-hold scan provides all Inversion Recovery images.
View the images as Modulus or Real (similar to PSIR)
Personalized image viewing
Intuitive automatic optimization of settings for the scan
Monitor the absolute T1-relaxation in 3D
Directly fits into the clinical work-flow
Fast and reliable workflow
See application example below >>>
A special sequence is performed on the MR scanner that results in images from which the tissue T1 relaxation time can be calculated per pixel.
Based on the absolute T1 values a late enhancement image can be recreated, or synthesized.
In the Synthetic Late Gd Enhancement images the inversion delay is free to choose. The user can therefore automatically find the optimal inversion time such that the healthy myocardium turns black in the image.
The best results for Late Enhancement Images are obtained by placing the ROI entirely inside healthy myocardium on a location that is close to a suspected pathology. The image will adjust the TI automatically to the optimal inversion delay.
In case of uncertainty of what is healthy and what is fibrotic myocardium right-mouse click to 'T1 map', the absolute T1 relaxation image. Healthy myocardium has higher T1 than fibrotic myocardium.
